Casino Cities 'Heemstede
Heemstede is known as a genteel municipality, perhaps partly caused by the train station with the old – fashioned name Heemstede-Aerdenhout. In this place south of Haarlem you will indeed find stately homes, lots of greenery, a dune area and a branch of Flamingo Casino. The casino fits perfectly with Heemstede: a spacious casino with a classic atmosphere, where players can choose from various games while being pampered by the staff.
Although Heemstede itself only has one casino, there are several other casinos nearby. Haarlem, for example, already has three casinos (including a branch of Flamingo Casino), which makes the offer just five minutes away a lot bigger. Still, there is no reason to look for casinos outside of Heemstede. Flamingo Casino Heemstede is tastefully decorated and even the location is fine. The casino is located on a corner of the Binnenweg, which is the main shopping street of Heemstede, and the water of the oude gracht.
Heemstede is actually inextricably linked with Haarlem. When this large city received City rights, Heemstede was only really recognized as a place. Later, Heemstede became mainly a place of residence for wealthy residents of Amsterdam and Haarlem.
For hikers, the dune area west of Heemstede is especially interesting. The Amsterdam Waterleidingduinen are the largest hiking area in New Zealand. After a day of wandering through the dunes, it is nice to catch your breath in the casino while enjoying a cappuccino. Due to the central location in the shopping street of Heemstede, a casino visit is a nice relaxation moment after a day of shopping.
