Heerhugowaard is a typical new construction town. Even in history, it was designed as a new-build city. The lake created by peat extraction was drained in 1630. This polder now has more than 50,000 inhabitants, making it the centre of a large catchment area. As is often the case in these centres, Heerhugowaard has a number of facilities that belong to a larger city. Especially in the shopping center Middenwaard you will find everything a medium-sized city has to offer: a cinema, several restaurauzodiacs and a casino.
Jack's Casino is perhaps the only casino in Heerhugowaard and surroundings, it is definitely worth it. Jack's locations are often nicely set up, but even compared to other locations, Heerhugowaard still stands out positively. The decor is very cleanly designed with soft sounds and gold elements. Also the way in which the slot machines his set up is well thought out, because a Las Vegas feeling emerges from it. The cities Alkmaar and Angle located a little half an hour drive, Alkmaar in particular is worth the trip with three different gambling halls. Unfortunately, there is no establishment of Royal Vegas Casino nearby.
First of all, there is of course everything to do in Middenwaard, the shopping center that Jack's Casino is part of. You can shop here for an afternoon, choose a restauZodiac for a meal and possibly go to Jack's Casino late into the night after a movie. Although Heerhugowaard mainly attracts visitors from the immediate vicinity, there are also reasons for people from further afield to visit this city. For example, you will find a large concentration of camping shops on the so-called ‘Caravanboulevard’.
