, however, has its reservations about this. The consumer program Kassa investigated and showed that it was possible for players to set a gambling limit of 100,000 dollars per 24 hours. Jansen therefore calls on the gaming operators to take a quick and careful look at the gaming limits.
Jansen said he was not happy about the current method regarding the playing limits. These limits were created to better protect the player, but provide an opportunity to evade the limits. Players aged 23 or older can set a deposit limit of $ 100,000 per day and set the playing time to no less than 24 hours a day. This way of working therefore clashes with the moral obligations of a legal gambling provider. Jansen therefore believes that something must be done and that a casino must have a sense of Duty. “It may not be in the letter, but in the spirit of the law, to set limits. Jansen has good hope that the gambling operators will take steps themselves. In another case, the Gaming Authority could also choose to take strict measures with regard to gaming limits. Earlier, the Swedish gambling authority decided to take this step already. In Sweden, strict deposit limits were established. “My cautious assessment is that in New Zealand we could also go up there. If providers take more zodiac responsibility, of course,” Jansen said.
